JASON CHASE MONOGRAPH
This book was made as a hypothetical artist monograph for Jason Chase - an artist living, working, and teaching in Boston, MA - and his work with the material NanoBlack. Because the subject matter dealt heavily with materiality, I wanted to make that the focal point of this book's design. As a result, the publication utilized multiple trim sizes and a variety of both vellum and talc papers. Black-on-black printing was also heavily featured on the cover - again to highlight the books subject. The final deliverable is a hand-bound, editorial-style publication on Jason Chase and NanoBlack.
