HEATHER’S
This was a logo and business card design project for a hair salon. In the brief, the client requested the inclusion of a heather flower using organic line work, and mauve tones if applicable.
The final icon and card design includes an organic floral form made by visible brush strokes that both evoke the profession's artistry and reference strands of hair. The main typeface chosen is a sans-serif font called Neue Kabel. Neue Kabel has angled cutouts at the top of its vertical stems - a choice that again references my client's craft. Custom media icons were also included in the business card design for their versatility.
